Gas-slotted rotors provide venting of the hot gases created by your pads during braking, resulting in more efficient braking because the pads are in better contact with the rotors. Gas-slotting may also lessen your chance of warped rotors. We do not recommend cross-drilled rotors in racing applications because cross-drilled cast iron rotors may crack due to the heat from braking.
